I love a home with zillions of books-- overflowing with books. 

It gives a room a certain "Je ne sais quois".

 For me it speaks mystery, artistry, intelligence, curiosity... that there's always something to learn, live, explore, do. 

Fresh flowers everywhere... nothing more elegant.

This black wall lends drama and sophisticated glam... especially with crystal bar glasses, brass, and pink flowers.

Wonderful, interesting artwork is often just what's needed to inspire an entire room.

What's more classic than old worn leather wingchairs? So rich.

Paint an entire room bright pink- daring yes.... but tells you you can put your personal style and flair into your home decor- no fear. This is what makes a house "your home".

Mix it up. Matchy matchy is just wrong for me... makes a room feel like it came out of catalog.

Love stone and brick interior walls... tufted anything- yes, great black book cases. Remember if you don't like something-- ie: a piece of furniture, or architectural element in your home- PAINT IT!

Want that Hollywood glam feeling--- here you go. All one color- neutral palette. with a grande, crystal chandelier and lots of mirrors.

White bedding always so inviting!

Go to the flea market-- buy a bunch of old, run down picture frames... lay them out and paint them white. You can create a fabulous display wall anywhere.  Think about it--- you could do this with many things, not just frames! How about high heels- plates, tea cups- books. Lay them out- spray them white (Or any other color)- and hang them up! You can create a striking wall out of just about anything and very easily at that!

I love a white room-- especially one that manages to look elegant and lived in-cozy at the same time.

Ahhh, I love rustic elegance. Put a crystal chandelier in a barn--- and I'm in love. Perfect.
